We absolutely loved Balbinny. Stylish, contemporary design, and a beautiful swimming pool. Really appreciated the hot tub too. The owners were very helpful. Everything was spotless. The views towards the Angus glens are epic. The area around it has a very special atmosphere and there is lots to see and do close by. We had a curry delivered from Jeeta and that was very good too. The reflexology session is highly recommended too. Last but not least our dogs loved the place. They have never been anywhere so luxurious.

We had such a wonderful relaxed week here. Though there are other properties at no time did we feel crowded and we just loved being able to book the pool - it was a real treat to relax in the spa pool (and swim). The tennis court was a boon, and we loved the balcony - wonderful evening views. The steadings are very comfy and clean - amazingly spacious. We ate out once or twice, had a delivery one night, and cooked in much of the time. it was a real tonic in this weird year. It is a lovely area too - there is plenty to do. Definitely recommended (but leave a space for us to return!)

5 ⭐️ holiday get away, stunning views, tranquil surroundings and high quality accommodation. Having the pool and spa onsite, just yards away from our lodge was brilliant for both the adults and children. Would strongly recommend, we will be back for sure!

We stayed in one of the brochs and were very impressed with the standard of accommodation. Fantastic views, great hot tub (follow the handy guidelines), modern, clean, well equipped....superb. We had the swimming pool to ourselves thanks to the time slots that need to be booked due to Covid. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and stargazing from the hot tub...looking forward to going back sometime soon

Our second time to Balbinny. Such a relaxing time at the Esk Broch! Beautiful view, blessed with wonderful Scottish weather & good company in the form of my new husband, son & the herd of friendly Highland cattle in the adjacent field, Spotlessly clean. David & Lynsay went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. We will be back!

My family and I stayed in one of David’s steadings, Isla, for 3 nights and it was perfect. A lovely modern, bright and airy space with all the amenities we could ever need! The pool was fantastic with our baby daughter and we cooked every night in such a well equipped kitchen!! Exploring Angus through the days was even better than expected. We would love to go back!!!!

Perfect place for chilling out. The pool was amazing, the views stunning. Husband loved how well equipped the kitchen was. Just gorgeous.
